Reading International Solidarity Centre is an ideal venue for permaculture study. In the heart of Reading it is a fully accessible building with excellent facilities and reserved parking area.

RISC with their interests in Fair Trade and developing educational resources that challenge inequality and injsutice are fully engaged in the social justice and people side of permaculture, the people care and fair share ethics which permaculture embodies.

With the RISC Roof Garden it also has one of the finest examples of an urban forest garden right on top of the classroom area for the course. The award winning garden is something that Sector39 lead tutor Steve Jones was instrumental in developing back in 2002-5.
