Permaculture Design is a fresh and creative approach of tackling problems. It draws from nature, from traditional practices and from contemporary thinking to create a solutions and function based approach to design. This subject is potentially of interest for everyone as it applies to food, energy, waste, soil, water, housing, local economies, people and enterprise.

On this special 2 week residential course we will working with a team of local crafts practitioners who add another dimension to the PDC experience. The event is set to coincide with the Wool and Willow festival, a month long crafts event at the Minnerva Arts centre in Llanidloes.

This PDC is ideal for anyone and even more so if you have an extra interest in crafts, making and selling and in exploring the possibilities of making or supplementing your income with crafts making and other artisanal work.

We will offer classes in basket making, weaving, peg looming, wool processing and green wood work additionally to the core PDC curriculum.

Price: £600, all inclusive of camping, three meals a day, field trips and certification.

Some places available at £490.00 for people on low income (<£18,000) and full time students
